Food Service
Throughout the Naturalist Rally weekend BRDC provides meals for guests whether you are attending just for the day or enjoying our lodging. You can purchase a Meal Deal ticket that includes all meals for the weekend or buy the meals individually, however, please note all meals are pre-purchase only with the cutoff being the Tuesday before the Rally.
Food Service Schedule:
Breakfast 7:00am - 8:00am
Lunch 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Dinner 5:30pm - 6:30pm

The weekend meals are tailored to the season with local specialty items served when available. Guests enjoy the meal in our traditional dining hall, served hot on our dinnerware.
Hot tea, coffee, and water service is available throughout the Naturalist Rally Weekend.
Friday Night Dinner: Our kickoff meal includes Meat or Vegetarian Lasagna, Salad, Bread, Blueberry Cobbler, and Iced Tea
Friday Night Campfire: Campfire S’mores (hosted during the Featured Speaker for youth but adults are welcome).
Saturday Breakfast: Fuel up a with Sausage(optional), Egg, & Cheese Burritos, add some kick with hot sauce, served with Coffee. Fresh fruit available.
Saturday Lunch: This midday meal is a Rally classic of Hot Dogs with slaw, relish, kraut, mustard and ketchup garnishes. Lunch includes chips, cookie and iced tea. Optional vegetarian wrap (humus or bean)
Seasonal lunch alternatives include: Chili & cornbread or Hot Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese.
Saturday Night Dinner: Poe’s Pulled Pork BBQ (Sandwich option), Baked Beans, Coleslaw, Banana Pudding and Iced Tea.
Seasonal Alternate: Honey Baked Ham, Macaroni and Cheese with Broccoli
Sunday Breakfast: Buttermilk Pancakes with or without local Blueberries, served with butter and regional maple syrup, bacon, orange juice.
Judge Jack and Clare MATTHEW'S Dining Hall
Featuring locally hand carved chairs and replica solid oak dining tables, this dining hall can seat 64 individuals in family style dining. Soaring above the hall are our featured raptor silhouettes that provide guests with a sense of scale and ID markers for our migratory birds of prey.

Our commercial kitchen is fully equipped to efficiently serve guests a variety of complex hot meals. Food can be conveniently distributed through a passthrough window or plated directly in the dining hall. Featuring a six-burner range, dual propane ovens, stainless steel prep areas, an ice machine, coffee percolators, pantry, and basement freezers, this kitchen is ready for extended, full-service meal preparation.
